Why do MFA’s coexist with strict laws?

The most expensive University in the country – plain up decided that they will drop every students’ semester if they fail to pay the fees within this week, barely three weeks into the semester.

This is crazy for a multitude of reasons. For instance, I know a lot of friends who pay for University out of their pockets. Some sell their property to be able to afford this education, and many have a hard time paying 700+ BDT per 1.5 hour of class. Sometimes, they need a little time to organize that sum, and fail to pay within schedule.

But no; seemingly, financial troubles aren’t allowed at this place because they need to pay for their fancy new building that these students will never see (other than a low quality render at the shoddy canteen wall, which has been the lonely reminder of every election campaign goal that has been dreamed of by the socialist parties till now).

In a class of 30 students, the revenue is approximately ~19K per 1.5 hours of projector time. A minimum of ~450K for 20 classes and 4 quizzes. I don’t particularly understand where that mammoth budget goes when all we get are MFA’s and TBA’s, but let’s not get into that. Chakri chole jaabe.

I am sorry, but I have a hard time believing that a University needs to destroy 3 months of someone’s life just because they didn’t pay 0.3% of a class’s revenue.

Most aren’t even asking for a free ride. All they need is a little time to pay up properly. If you can’t be a little lenient about that, then are you sure that you are making good humans, or just rude milking machines out of these guys?

Because that is how you behave with them.
