Odd that nobody still realizes that we don’t really require fireworks and fiery lanterns to celebrate the new years eve. Especially not in super polluted skies of Dhaka. I think it was worse this year compared to last year – and I can only assume that things will get worse in the coming days. Somehow, it is also being normalized.

On the other hand – the war in Ukraine is continuing as if there is no end. And I presume it won’t end with winter. The suffering will continue for a while.

And on other news – we probably have only a year left till elections. Which could get bloody and unstable. Hopefully not though.
