Spent an unnecessarily long time of my life remembering how to read manual Vernier Calipers. Even though the digital ones cost like 2$ extra and don’t require any reading and multiplying. Why was I forced to do this?
Spent a harrowing semester learning how to write MIPS code to draw a triangle and make it wiggle. I will never understand why that had a say over my degree. How was it necessary? How many students actually end up writing MIPS in their professional scope later on?
Saint Joseph School had terrible pipettes that had a say over my Chemistry Lab Exams way back in 2011 (British Council had that as an exam venue). Even their chemicals were tainted and the acids were like lebur shorbot. And everybody seemed okay with that.
